Lambert Valentimo Fleming Sr., better known as "Tino or Cobra," died on Oct. 10.
He is survived by his wife, Mavis Moorehead Fleming; daughters: Bernadette Gillard, Cheryl Bryan, Ianthe Boggan, Lorraine Parrish, Colette Fleming, Renee Crawford and Joset Fleming; sons: Clarence Fleming, Lambert Fleming and Roan Fleming; 19 grandchildren; sisters: Elmira Callwood and Idalia Bess; brothers: Albert Fleming, Gilbert Fleming, Nathanial Fleming and Lionel Fleming; aunts: Diana Hendricks, Ruth Peterson and Mary Emanual; uncles: Ernest Frett and Edwardo George; and brother-in-law, Roy Moorehead.
He is also survived by special friends: JoJo Barbel, Wallace Penn, Leonard Joshua, Alvin Crooke, Ferry Francis, Micheal Coggins, Ricky Lambert, Dr. Derek Spencer, Eleanor Hughes, Era Joseph, Billy, the Moorehead family, the Dyer family, the Rojas family, the Government Printing Office and We From Up Street Inc.; and many nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.
A first viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral services at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. Burial will be at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.
