Beach Advisory for August 15-19

The Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) announces that the Division of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Beach Water Quality Monitoring Program, which evaluates weekly water quality at 43 popular swimming beaches throughout the territory, advises the public of the following:
DPNR-DEP performed water quality analysis at the 43 designated beaches throughout the territory during the week of August 15-19, 2011. All 43 beaches meet water quality standards and are safe for swimming or fishing:
St. Croix
Chenay Bay
Stony Ground
Grapetree Bay
Teague Bay
Protestant Cay
Sprat Hall
Sprat Hall
Davis Bay
Cane Bay
Gentle Winds
Princess (Condo Row)
Cramer Park
Columbus Landing
Frederiksted Public Beach (First Target)
Pelican Cove (Comorant)
New Fort (Ft. Louise Augusta)
St. Thomas
Bolongo Bay
Water Bay
Magens Bay
Vessup Bay
Coki Point
Frenchman’s Bay
Hull Bay
Brewer’s Bay
Lindbergh Bay
Secret Harbor
St. John
Klain Bay
Hart Bay
Frank Bay
Great Cruz Bay
Johnson’s Bay
Cruz Bay
Chocolate Hole
