The seventh Parent University graduation ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. onSunday, May 29, at theJohn H. Woodson Junior High School Auditorium. The Parent University Program is a series of informational workshops focused on improving parental and community involvement.
“For approximately four weeks, parents enrolled in the program attended evening classes at the St. Croix Career and Technical Educational Center to refresh and update themselves on a broad variety of topics related to raising children, education and social issues affecting families and the community. Our parents are stepping up to the plate and doing what is necessary to improve conditions in the home and their community, and as a result, we have 62 persons receiving their certificates,” said St. Croix District Superintendent Gary Molloy
