Fevena Quamina Jerome Dies at 91

Fevena Quamina Jerome of La Grande Princesse died on May 18, at her home. She was 91 years old.
She is survived by her children: NolaJean Taylor, Geneva Jerome, Earl Ashwin Jermone Sr., Angela Jerome and Annmarie Jermone; sister, Vero Toby; brother, Arnold Quamina; grandchildren: Mark Austin, Neville Austin, Alicia Alison McEldon, Dr. Patricia Taylor, Beverly Jerome Jacob, Blayne Jerome, Cherryann Gaskin, Earl Jerome Jr., Calvin Warner, Tashina Antoine, Na’im Muhammad and Teshone Smith; and great-grandchildren: Shade Jacob, Kadeem Jacob, Akeba Jacob, Amanda Jerome, Imani Jerome, Karina Austin, Christopher Austin, Jacob Jerome, Jackia Jerome, Kadiann Gaskin, Katina Gaskin, Karl Gaskin III, Luke McEldon, Nina Louise McEldon, Holly Austin and Brandon Austin.
She is also survived by nieces: Esther Brown, Geraldine Cepeda, Janice Quamina, Joy Quamina Thompson, Rhonda Quamina Wright, Denise Quamina, Lenore Leycock, Theodora James, Olive James, Ann James, Bernadette James and Denise James; nephews: Pastor Cecil Quamina, Glenory Quamina, Ernest Quamina, Junior Quamina, Ronnie Quamina, Everton James, Leslie James, Anthony James and Alvin Perry; sons-in-law: Wayne Noel Smith and Mervyn Tyrell; grandsons-in-law: Stephen McElden and Karl Gaskin Jr.; special family and friends: Evanglist and Vero Albert and family, Linda and Withfield Cummings, Woodworth Cummings, Carlyle and Angela Branker, Karen and Kathleen Duncan and family, Judith and Trevor Nelson and family, Aldwyn Dick and family, Ralph Cook and family, Gerald Padmore and family, Jean Nesbitt Mathew and family, Kimberly Edwards, DHS Office of Intervention/Foster Care Family, Raymond and Antoinette Alleyne and family, Continue Care and family, especially Brenda La Force, JFL Medical Floor staff; as well as other family and friends in Trinidad and St. Croix too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 27, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
