Muller School Honors Former Principals at Appreciation Dinner

The Administration and PTA Board of the Ulla F. Muller Elementary School has announced an appreciation dinner in honor of two former outstanding administrators of the school: Ulla F. Muller and Ophelia Shillingford. The event will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday evening, May 20, at Walker’s by the Seain Lindbergh Bay.
The honorees are being shown appreciation for their contributions to the growth and success of the Muller Elementary School community and many years of distinguished service to the educational advancement of students in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Muller served as principal from 1953, providing 27 years of service and has continued to volunteer annually at the school. Ophelia Shillingford has served as principal from 1994, and after 16 years of service, she retired in 2010. Additionally, parent volunteers will be recognized for their steadfast commitment to contributing their time and services to the students, faculty and staff of the school.
Tickets are $40 per person and are available at the Ulla F. Muller School Office. For more information, contact Aasa Gomez at 344-2653 or Ms. Neives at 774-0059.
