Students Sought for SAT Prep Course, Summer Session

The University of the Virgin Islands – Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (UVICELL) Center is currently accepting applications for its Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) Prep course. Interested applicants must submit their registration form and payment to the UVICELL Center by Wednesday, Friday, May 27, to apply for the program. The program is designed to improve SAT scores by lowering testing anxiety and improving test-taking skills. It is open any high school student from public, private and parochial schools. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.0 to 3.5 to be admitted in the program.
Classes for the 10-week program are scheduled to begin on Saturday, June 18. They will be held from 1-4 p.m. For fees and more information, call 693-1106.
