VIPD Raises Rates for Services

Police Commissioner Novelle E. Francis Jr. announced Friday that fees for services provided by the Virgin Islands Police Department to the public will increase as of June 1.

Those services include, but are not limited to, police and traffic records and reports, fingerprints, firearms, various permits and security licenses, the department announced in a news statement.

The complete list of increased fees can be viewed on the VIPD website or can be requested at the Records Bureau located at the Zone A Command on St. Thomas, the Leander Jurgen Command on St. John and at the Police Operations and Administration Building at Estate Hannah’s Rest on St. Croix.
