In recognition of St. Thomas Carnival the V.I. Waste Management Authority will observe the following days as administrative leave for all administrative offices:
Wednesday, May 4: Food, Arts and Crafts Fair Day on St. Thomas and St. John from noon to 5 p.m.
Thursday, May 5: J’ouvert on St. Thomas and St. John from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, May 6: Children’s Parade and Carnival Horse Races, Territorial from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
These closings are in coordination with the administrative leave schedule of the central government to allow the VIWMA’s management and staff the opportunity to enjoy and partake in the Carnival activities.
