Sarah M. Lee Dies at 81

Sarah M. Lee, former owner of Anesta’s Nest in Savan, died on April 14, at Schneider Regional Medical Center. She was 81 years old.
She is survived by her son, Seymour Lee; daughter, Diane Lee; grandson-in-law, Warner Giddarie; grandchildren: Tricia Daway (Sanford, Fla.) Monique Daway Giddarie (Woodbridge, Va.) Tricia Daway Michelle Daway (Jacksonville, Fla.); great-grandchildren: Fitzroy Blake Jr., Tyahna Blake, Mya Giddarie, Mason Giddarie; cousins: Clifford Adams Sr. and family, Mildred Francis and family, Gwendolyn O’Garro and family, Fitzroy Henry and family; friends: Stephen “Smokey” Frett and family, Cynthia Thomas and family, Ann Gumbs and family, and Angela Isaac and family; as well as many other godchildren, relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A first viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, May 2, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a second viewing at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. at Christchurch Methodist, Market Square. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 2.
