Police Bust Alleged Drug Dealer … and Buyer

Both the alleged seller of cocaine and marijuana and the man he is believed to have sold it to in the Cruz Bay area were arrested Thursday by police on St. John.

Both suspects were found with drugs at the time of their arrest, according to the V.I. Police Department. Irvin Marsh, 21, of Estate Pastory was arrested shortly after 9 p.m. and charged with possession with intent to distribute and simple possession.

Piotr Gajewski, 30, of Point Pleasant on St. Thomas was arrested shortly after 8 p.m. and charged with simple possession.

According to police reports, officers said Gajewski was found with marijuana and cocaine in his possession near a mini-mart and said he bought the drugs from Marsh. When officers arrested Marsh, he was also found with a small amount of marijuana in his possession.

Bail for both suspects was set at $500 each and they were remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
