Alfredo Andrews School Invites Community to Cultural Day Activities

Alfredo Andrews Elementary School invites the community to a two-partCultural Showcase onWednesday, March 30. Part I will be a special tribute to the legacy of Alfredo Andrews. It will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will feature storytelling, quadrille and moko jumbie dancing, and musical performances. Part II of the Cultural Showcase will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will feature cultural performances, presentations and a spread of local delicacies, including soups, bakes, beverages and desserts. Enjoy the program and many treats such as salt fish gundi, johnny cake, salmon balls, banana fritters, pumpkin fritters, kallaloo, red pea soup, ice cream, Vienna cake as well as passion fruit and tamarind juices at reasonable prices.
