Pig Roast and Reggae at Ridge to Reef Farm Set for Saturday

Join Creque Dam Farm at the Virgin Islands Sustainable Farm Institute to dance, eat and celebrate local food. Local reggae band Sun Rah will be pumping positive vibes on the community center lawn.
Come to Ridge to Reef Farm (R2R), also known as Creque Dam Farm, to celebrate the season. The pig roast will be a feast for vegetarians and meat eaters alike, full of local food from the farm and other island farmers. The food and music will start at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12.
The cost for music is $5-$10; admission is on a sliding scale, i.e., pay what you can for the band. There is a $20 donation for a BBQ plate with R2R organic farm fresh sides. Bring a blanket or folding chair, a cup, BYOB.
Directions: The road is in great shape, and it is suggested that motorists come up Creque Dam Road from Frederiksted by the waterfalls. Go to Sprat Hall on the west coast and follow the signs for 2.7 miles to the Creque Dam Farm sign at the metal gate on the left, which is after Mt. Victory. Pass through the gate and follow the dirt road a 1/2 mile to the VISFI Community Center. You will see someone there to help you find a parking spot and donate for your dinner plate and ticket to the show. Then find a spot on the lawn to relax and join the celebration.
RSVPs are not necessary but are appreciated.
