Cynthia Adeline Henry, better known as “Adeline” or “Addie,” formerly of Virgin Gorda, died on Dec. 30, on St. Thomas. She was 83 years old.
She is survived by children: Millicent Eddy (Orca), Doris Connor, Sandra Hodge (Santa), James Eddy (Butchie), Anthony Eddy (Stargo), Gabriel Eddy (Apoe or Yankee), Charles Martin (Bebee), Lynette Eddy-Edwards, Suzette Eddy, Ingrid Eddy; grandchildren: Tiny Vanverhut, Leon Vanverhut, Lorolie Connor, Elmo Connor, Maxwell Smith, Kendrick Eddy (Tonkey), Keisha Eddy, Kemarah Sika, James Eddy Jr., Shaka Eddy, Iesha Eddy, Kendra Eddy, Jefery Eddy, Shaneka Eddy, Jorell Eddy, Latisha Eddy, Leandra Eddy, Quinn Eddy, Greg Eddy, Shawy Eddy, Tristan Edwards and Marcus Williams; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by sister, Angelica Martin (Lea); brother, Wilfred Kuntz; daughters-in-law, Cloudina eddy and Bernadette Eddy; sons-in-law: Dante Hodge, Elmo Connor and Ephraim Edwards; as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 10, at Global Life Church. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
