Alton A. Powell Sr. of Estate Calquhoun died on Dec. 24. He was 54 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa Powell; mother, Elida Powell; daughters: Abigail Powell and Adrianna Johnson; sons: Adony, Alton Jr., Aaron, Abraham and Adam; grandchildren: Kihara and Kihana; sisters: Pearl Powell and Paulette Williams; daughter-in-law, Shaneeva Garcia; brothers: Wendell, Irvin, Steven, Neville, Conroy and Peter; son-in-law, Paulinton Johnson; great nieces: Ayanna and Chenea; sisters-in-law: Gemaine Powell and Lynthia Powell; great nephews: Jaylen and Liam; brother-in-law, Patrick Williams Jr.; uncle, Arthur Powell; nieces: Sherena, Sherelle, Nakia, Melanie, Kristalia and Dyarah; aunts: Ada Powell Acoy and Sarah Powell James; nephews: Joel, Jahmaal, Patrick III, Lamar, Kandel and Jaydon; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing at 10 a.m. will be followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 10, at the Kingshill Chapel. Interment will follow at the Kingshill Cemetery.
