So often, people only pass along a story when something terrible happens! Especially here in St. Thomas! Well during this beautiful holiday season, I want to pass along a great story! As many of you know, I am a ships agent for the cruise ships that visit us here. A few weeks ago, I got a call from a woman saying that someone in her office had found a wallet and that when they looked inside there was a card indicating that the owner was a passenger on my ship that day. I arranged to go get it and when I arrived she asked me to sign a piece of paper saying that I had received it and the almost $800 that was inside! So here is a little good testimonial about our island, that two weeks before Christmas, when less honest people may look at it as a fortunate windfall, our islanders gave it back!:). Happy New Year!
