New Jersey Man Charged with Grand Larceny

Police on St. John arrested New Jersey native Malik Cheatham, 59, and charged him with grand larceny.
Cheatham was arrested at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday after he admitted to officers that he entered a vehicle and stole a backpack containing personal items valued at more than $100.
Bail for Cheatham was set at $35,000 and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
