Ruthledge C. N. Brown of Strawberry died on June 18, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 76 years old.
He is survived by his spouse, Iris Browne; daughters: Rosemary Browne and Beverley Hines; stepdaughters: Alexis Roberts and Patarica Torres; sons: Vaden and Oswald Browne; grandchildren: Sheniqua Jarvis, Kafi Gore, Shivorn, Javorn, Jamie, Jelesa, Tisha, Dashawn, Vaden Jr., Varyl and Venecia Browne, Jaleesa Woodrup, Julissa Daniel, Anthony Walker and Adrian Torres,. Brittany and Toby Hines; and great-grandchildren: Maleka Hamlet, Jamelia Morrissey and J’Adore Warner. He is also survived by daughter-in-law, Cheryl Browne; son-in-law, Hugh L. Hines; sisters: Eileen Richardson, Yvonne Harmon, Rosemary Morrissey, Eldina Henry, Ethla Joseph, Catherine Lacy Browne, Imar Browne, Esther Josiah and Yvette Gayle; brothers: James Thomas, Macauley Mackie Thomas, Neville, Masden and Hillroy Browne; special friends: Marylene and Mavrille Philemon and family, Emilio Rodriguez and family, the Kirby family, the YRC family, Judy-Ann James and family, ICU and Virgin Islands Cardiac Center staff, the Mclene family, the Winston family, Walter Browne and family, Juliet and Charles family; sisters-in-law: Evelyn Allen, Delores Lo-Lo Edwards, Cassandra M. Thompson and Rose Shepard; brothers-in-law: Edward Morrissey, Davidson Henry, Arthur Joseph, Joseph, Terrence, Raymond, Gerald, Charles and Abraham Martin, and Allan Yarwood; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
