St. Thomas-St. John Library Association Presents the ‘Human Library’

Don’t judge a book by its cover; read about the lives of everyday people as open books. Experience enlightened interaction with people of diverse backgrounds, who are often stereotyped or misunderstood, such as Africans, Muslim women, Haitians, Baha’i, Filipinos, Buddhists, Dominicans and others. The St. Thomas-St. John Library Association, using a concept of the Human Library Organization, will hold a “Read on the Green” from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, on the golf course at the UVI Club House.
