Carmen Fabio of Constitution Hill died on March 9, at Mt. Sinai Hospital. She was 72 years old.
She survived by her daughters: Edna Fabio and Judith Fabio Figueroa; son, Stephen Fabio; stepson, Vernon Fabio; grandchildren: Nabai, Joanna, Stephen Jr., Carmen, Ezra, Stewart, Jose, Xamara, Miguel, Nayelili, Diana, Rebecca and Michael; great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Brandon, Leroy, John, Naomi, Mirania, John,Jr., Christopher, David, Jada and Michael. She is also survived by sisters: Felicidad Pereira, Gloria Castro and Ramona Pack; brothers: Jose Cruz Jr. and Juan Cruz; son-in-law, Jose A. Figueroa Jr.; nieces: Rosemary, Clara, Elizabeth, Alejandrina, Arlene, Jacqueline, Grissell and Marina; nephews: Ivan, Alex, Robin, Bill Jr., Jose Maniel, Tito, Luisito, Victor, Pablo, Jorge, George and Frito; sisters-in-law: Magaly, Marta and Rosa Cruz; brothers-in-law: Guillermo Casro and Armando Pereira; special friends: Ruth Velasquez, Freddy Christiansen, Antonia Gibbons, Osvaldo Perez and Baldin Villafanie; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, at Hermanos Unidos en Cristo. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
