V.I. Resource Conservation & Development Seeks Volunteers

The Virgin Islands Resource Conservation & Development Council Inc. (VIRC&D) is seeking volunteers to continue to help maintain and restore the Estate Adventure Nature Trail from the damage inflicted by past storms, and to build a new bridge across the gut. Please join the group from 7-11 a.m., Sunday, March 14, and help prune trees, remove debris, mow weeds and prepare the foundation for the new outdoor education pavilion.

All students seeking community service hours, teachers, hikers, birders, ecologists, researchers and St. Croix nature lovers who want to help are invited. Please bring gloves and wear clothing suitable for working in the bush. Water, snacks and tools will be provided.
