St. Thomas Hibiscus Society Schedules Two Meetings in March

The St. Thomas Hibiscus Society Inc. will conduct a membership meeting at 3 p.m. sharp on Sunday, March 7, at the Lutheran Church Hall, Cruz Bay, St. John. It will include a "Mini Flower Show" featuring growers who will answer questions, and advise on how to grow and care for hibiscus and other flowering plants. There will also be a distribution of DVD Catalogues (of 3,309 hibiscus images) and the "Seed Pod" magazines, both produced by the American Hibiscus Society, as well as membership cards and Annual Hibiscus Show booklets. The public is welcome to attend, and admission is free.

The St. Thomas Hibiscus Society, Inc. will hold its general membership meeting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 14, at the sun room at Roy L. Schneider Medical Center. There will be a discussion of the 32nd Annual Show results and a "Hybridizing Demonstration" as well as the planning of a community project. Interested persons are welcome to attend, and admission is free.
