Human Services Temporarily Relocates Offices

The Department of Human Services Division of Family Assistance will temporarily relocate its offices in Golden Rock to the Job Opportunity and Basic Skills Program (JOBS) offices in Estate Richmond. Office hours will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 22. The SNAP (Food Stamp), Energy Crisis Assistance (ECAP), and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) programs will move in order to accommodate the installation of new air-conditioning equipment in the Golden Rock office, according to a press release from the V.I. Department of Human Services.

Work is expected to be completed within 10 business days. The Claims and Front End offices will remain in the Golden Rock building and provide service from the Issuance office and general conference room respectively in section A of the Golden Rock building. The department asks for public cooperation and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
