Ruth Britannia Richardson-Pickering Dead at 73

Ruth Britannia Richardson-Pickering, better known as “Old Girl” or “Gang Gang,” of Adel Gade died on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Schneider Regional Medical Center. She was 73 years old.

She is survived by Elvis Richardson, Eustice Richardson and Ulric Pickering; daughter, Jessica Richardson; and 14 grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers: Rodney Richardson, Hilton Carty, and John Ralphael and Seymour Edwards; sisters: Belceta Frazer, Annette Edwards-Rogers, Anne Edwards, Eulineen Caines, Blanche Edwards and Rita Edwards; niece, Molinda Hodge; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 29, at Christchurch Methodist. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 3.
All arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home, 774-1464.
