Egbert Loujah Smith Dead at 49

Egbert Loujah SmithEgbert Loujah Smith, also known as "Kimba," of Frangipani died on Jan. 22. He was 49 years old.

He is survived by his spouse, Cheryl Hughes; mother, Julietta Smith; father, Joseph Smith; daughters: Khayla Smith and Faye Smith; sons: Kian Smith and Ryan Smith; grandchild, Kaiden Smith; brothers: Damian Smith and Hudson Smith; and sister-in-law, Leah Smith. He is also survived by nieces: Kisha Smith and Kerisha Smith; nephew, Kareem Smith; great nephew, Elijah J. Lestagez; aunts: Ramona Jones, Aurelise Smith, Lera McGlothan, Rolina Louise and Cecila Smith; uncles: Augustine Smith, Alexander Smith and John Smith; cousins and other relatives: Linus Augustus, Alena Charles, Terry Jones, Ronald Jones, Juliet Jones and Kenny Jones; special friends: Bertrane Small, Austin and Juliana Sheraton, Tina Patton, Earl Frazier and Jola Turbe; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 29, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
