Community Foundation accepting donations for Haiti relief

Residents who want to contribute to ongoing relief efforts in Haiti can now do so through the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands (CFVI).
According to CFVI President Dee Baechar-Brown, 100 percent of all donations will go towards medical and other relief efforts and can be given by credit card of check.
Credit card donations can be called in to (340) 774-6031. Checks can be mailed to CFVI at P.O. Box 11790, St. Thomas, USVI 00801, and must have “Haitian Relief Fund” written on the memo line or on a note included with the check. Checks can also be dropped off at the CFVI main office in Downtown Charlotte Amalie at 5600 Royal Dane Mall, Suite 19, located on the second floor above Beans, Bytes and Websites.
