Randolph Westerby Strunkey Dead at 69

Randolph W. StrunkeyRandolph Westerby Strunkey, also known as “Strunkey,” of Morning Star died on Nov. 17. He was 69 years old.

He is survived by his spouse, Jeanette Strunkey; daughters: Faye Strunkey-Friday, Randah Connor and Esther Herbert; sons: Eric and Troy Strunkey, and Lloyd Sullivan; grandchildren: Erica, Janel, Ariel, Arianna, Eric, Erin, Erissa, Tecima, Rene, Shana, Jordan and Cherene; daughter-in-law, Tangela Strunkey; mother-in-law, Ovilda Wiliams-Haynes; father-in-law, Ishmael Smith; sister, Deidra Strunkey; brothers: Tracey Strunkey and Cedric Merchant; sisters-in-law, Lois Davis, Evon Gill and Arlene Kirspel; and brothers-in-law: Olonzo and Lorenzo Williams. A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 7, at the Friedensthal Moravian Church. Interment will follow at Moravian Cemetery.
