Innovative Distributes Dictionaries From the CFVI Angels to Third Graders

Innovative employees distributed free dictionaries to 75 students in the third grade at the Joseph Gomez Elementary School on St. Thomas on the morning of Friday, Oct. 30. The event, which was a collaborative effort between Innovative employees and the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands, turned out to be a hit with the students.

“The students were so happy when we gave them their new dictionaries,” Innovative Telephone Supervisor Sandra Hodge said. “One of the students even said he had always looked forward to owning his own dictionary. Other students were excited when we gave them gift certificates to a local fast food restaurant, as well as Innovative branded pens, rulers and water bottles.”
The company was pleased to have had the opportunity to join with CFVI, which donated the dictionaries, to put such an important resource into the hands of the children in the community.
