She was 90 years old.She is survived by her daughters: Gemess LaVann and Jane Meade; sons: Eustace Glanville and Conrad Whyte Sr.; grandchildren: Althea Benjamin, Lyndon Simon, Omari and Monique Meade, Wanda Simpson, Dante Glanville, Condacy Walwyn, Carol Whyte- Rosa, Constance Whyte-Kriz, Conrad Whyte Jr., Charmaine A., Colette, Chenelle and Conrad Rowan Whyte; and 32 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, James Haywood; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Whyte; son-in-law, Alphonso Meade; special cousin, Salomie Challenger; special friends: Vadis Grant, Henrietta Williams, Ovril Hector, Primrose Joseph, Sue and Noel Coates; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
