Get Wet for the Pets: Benefit for the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center

Spend an afternoon of fun in the sun for a good cause with Get Wet for the Pets, a benefit for the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center on Saturday, Aug. 22. Dive Experience will take contributors on an intimate snorkel trip to explore Green Cay Island from above and below the sea. The trip includes mask, snorkel and fins.
The cost of the trip is $40 per person and proceeds benefit the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center. Refreshments and drinks will be for sale on board. Space is limited, so please make reservations by calling Dive Experience at 773-3307.
Dive Experience owner, Michelle Pugh, is a master diver and began her career at age 16. She was the first woman to photograph killer whales in the waters off the Canadian coast and was the first dive operator on St. Croix to achieve PADI 5 Star IDC rating. For those who can’t attend the event, Dive Experience has created a discount Saturday to benefit AWC. Every third Saturday of the month, customers who bring in three cans of dog or cat food will receive 20 percent off all dive gear in the store that day.
To find out more or to volunteer to help, call AWC at 778-1650 or visit www.StCroixAWC.org.
