Henry Joseph Jackson Dies

Henry Joseph Jackson, better known as “Saco,” of No. 32 Catherine’s Rest died on Saturday, July 18, at his home.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gloria Petersen Jackson; daughters: Renee Jackson and Aleda Jackson; stepdaughters: Donna P. Ferdinand and Leone D. Jackson; sons: Henry Jr. and Kenneth Jackson; stepsons: Gregory Byron and Lester Ferdinand; grandchildren: Tisha , Shanika, Patrice and Kamaoi Jackson, Angel Carrion III and Latisha Johnson; step grandchildren : Radiance and Raymond Meyers, Denika, Daniella and David Jr. Ellington, Shakima Bastian, and Akeem, Jabarri, and Akeel Ferdinand; and step great-grandchild:Renique Meyers. He is also survived by sisters: Sarita Todman and Eleanor Roebuck; brothers: Hugh Jackson and Godwin Roebuck; special friends: Gil Belardo, Juan Acosta, Chin Figueroa, Alphonso James and their families, Mandy Llanos, Eddie Motta, Larry Jacobs and Kitchelle Frazer.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., Friday, July 31, at Lord God of Sabbath Lutheran Church, Christiansted. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery – Veterans Section.
