George Warrington Lewis, also known as “Mr. Lewis” or “Warrington,” of Orange Grove, Frederiksted, died on July 17, at his residence.
He is survived by his spouse: Mary Grace Lewis; daughter: Daphne Hughes; sons: Wilfred A. Henry and Henry Charles Henry; grandchildren: Melford Henry, Emlyn Henry-Tuckett, Alexis, Rudolph Shirley, Allan Henry and Christine Henry-Gurty, Christine Henry-Christian, Angella, Trevor Henry, Jacklyn Francis, Lena Hughes, Bernard and Errol Parris, Sharon and Bend Steavens; 29 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; daughters-in-law: Corahe Henry and Ursil Henry; special friends: the Orr’s family; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Friday, July 24, at Holy Cross Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
