FRC Offers ‘Rites of Passage Program’ for Boys

The Family Resource Center’s Family and Youth Crises Intervention Program is currently holding registration for its Rites of Passage component. The program, funded by the Department of Human Services, is free, but space is limited.
FRCis currently accepting registration from parents who have sons from ages 9 to 12 years. The “Rites of Passage” will offer free field trips, tai-chi, computer literacy, social development/socialization skills, cultural literacy, and ecological art. Classes will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.,beginning on Saturday, Sept. 5. The closing ceremony will take place on Saturday Dec. 12. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
