Rebecca James died on June 29. She was 90 years old.
She is survived by her sister, Keturah Francis; nieces and nephews: Calvin, Cleopha, Renita and Roy Benjamin, Doris, Dennis, Delano, Alfred, Josephine and Theodore Francis, and Winifred Benjamin; great nieces and nephews: Charrissice Benjamin, Adrian and Andrew, Regina Edwards-Keels and Coleen Francis; nieces-in-law: Carol-Ann and Arnel Benjamin, and Shanarae Edwards; special friends: Vincecil England, Gloria A. Marcus, Terry and Tuti Highfield, Rudolph Myers, Beryl and Gerda Hendricks, Gloria Canegata-Waterman, Noemi Osoria, Rosalind Reid, Victoria Baptiste, Elfreda Gibbs and daughter, Violet Chapman, Rona Chapman, Jada Finch-Sheen, Esmeralda Rock-Harris, Susannah, Simmonds, Lloyd and Antonette Bolling; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, July 7, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Christiansted cemetery.
