Pan-African Support Group to Hold Emancipation Day Celebration

In partnership with the University of the Virgin Islands Summer Band/Opera Camp, the Pan-African Support Group (PASG) has scheduled its 22nd celebration of Emancipation Day for 11 a.m., Friday, July 3, in the Emancipation Garden on St. Thomas.
The theme is "Emancipation is as necessary today as it was in 1848."
The event will feature choirs, dance groups, poets, singers, a concert band, speakers, DJ music, drummers and much more.
