Suspect Added to the VI Most Wanted List

June 24, 2009 — Police on St. Croix have added Randy Williams to the territory's "Most Wanted list."
Williams is wanted in connection with the kidnapping for robbery case that occurred Tuesday in the Golden Twin Apartments, formerly Bay Court Apartments in Estate Golden Rock, Christiansted.
Williams is 34-years-old, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair and a dark complexion. According to the police, Williams used to wear his hair in locks but recently cut his hair and now wears it in braids.
Williams frequents the John F. Kennedy housing community, LBJ Gardens and Estate Grove Place.
Police were called to investigate shots fired at the apartments at about 7:19 a.m. Tuesday. The victim told police he had been tied with duct tape by a suspect with a gun. He tried to fight back and the weapon discharged. While the victim was tied up, the suspect demanded money, the victim said.
Randy Williams’ photo will be placed on the VI Most Wanted list on the VIPD website.
Police asked that anyone knowing Williams' whereabouts or who has additional information regarding this case to immediately call the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 712-6077, 712-6037 or Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-TIPS.
