Susanna Sarah Kirby Dead at 74

June 24, 2009 – Susanna Sarah Kirby, also known as “Aunt Sue” or “Sister Kirby,” of Estate Rattan died on June 17, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 74 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Velma Okhane Kirby Brown and Marion Kirby; sons: Ives and Danny Kirby; grandchildren: Anthony Brown, Prince-Christopher Brown, Danny Kirby Jr., Daniella Kirby, Dante and Denzil Kirby, Kyle, Clevand and Sade Smith; sisters: Mary Donavan, Priscilla Anthony, Perline Crump and Verna Williams; and brothers: Samuel Humphreys, Stedroy Meade, Rickie and Godfrey Humphreys. She is also survived by best friends: Patricia Scott and Eldina Henry; cousins: Leroy Humphreys, Eureen Charles, Hector, Nelrine Anthony, Geraldine Forde, Caleb and their families; good friends: Amy Ramsey Williams and family, Pastor Lynton, Pastor Frances, Lenny James, Eldina Henry, Elizabeth Henry, Mildred Thomas, The Davises, Martins and Caines, Eugene Jeffers, Edmund Liburd, Leovia Harris, Valarie Hay, Pastor Frances; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Friday, July 2, at the Beeston Hill Wesleyan Holiness Church. Interment will follow at the Kingshill Cemetery.
