WTJX Announces Winners of Reading Rainbow National Contest

June 9, 2009 – Kindergarten through 3rd graders were invited to write and illustrate original storybooks and enter them in the 15th annual Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest, sponsored by PBS stations all over the United States, including WTJX. The winners from St. Thomas are: Antonio Morciglio, Ja'Mouri George, K'Shard Callendar, Aisha Aaron, Jakeem Adrien, and La'Monee' Morris. The St. Croix winners are Tahj Francis and Alwyn Edwards.
Also in the photograph are parents, station representatives and the WTJX mascot, Langford the Lizard.
