June 1, 2009 – Albert Evan Powell of Work & Rest died on May 29. He was 96 years old.
He is survived by his spouse, Georgette Powell; daughters: Syonia and Joyslin; sons: Roger, Garnet, Sobrattie, Reynard and Brian; grandchildren: Roseann, Warren, Nikki, Roger Jr., Beltito Valarie, Candace, Tiffany, Elizabeth, Charity, Celes Silas, Garnella, Nicole, Levar, Shana, Corretta, Jessica, Jannelle, Joyson and Josseline; adopted grandchildren: Kim, Tanya, Glen and Jeron; 14 great-grandchildren and daughters-in-law: Ludina, Pamela and Carla Powell. He is also survived by brothers: George and Fred Powell; and special friends: John Burr and Jim Randell; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 3, at Peter's Rest Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
