Boys & Girls Club Will Hold Open House to Launch Campaign

May 26, 2009 – The Boys & Girls Club of the Virgin Islands will kick off its campaign, "It Only Takes One," with an open house and ice cream social from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, May 30, at the Christiansted headquarters, No. 7 Market Street. The event will offer an opportunity to see the club's improvements, hear of its recent achievements and explain its ongoing mission, which is to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. Attendees will also enjoy ice cream, cookies, games and other activities.
The organization currently serves over 200 student members. Each club includes classrooms, a technology center, a game room, an arts & crafts room, an outside basketball court and administrative offices.
