SGVBG Will Offer Grow and Learn Program

St. George Village Botanical Garden's Grow and Learn program will present "Water Wise Landscaping," from 3-5 p.m., Friday, May 15, in the Pavilion at the Bovine Visitors' Center. With summer sunshine and heat, gardens are going to suffer through long periods of dry weather. David Hamada, horticultural director of the garden, will teach and show examples of how to maintain a water wise landscape. St. Croix is particularly prone to drought during this season, so come grow and learn how to maintain a landscape year round.
The Grow and Learn series of hands-on workshops are held on the third Friday of each month in the Pavilion at the Bodine Visitors' Center. There is a $5 fee for members or $15 for non-members, call to register at 692-2874.
