Oceana Gallery Holds Over Carnival Art Show

April 28, 2009 – Due to popular response, Oceana Gallery at Villa Olga, Frenchtown, is holding over Lisa Etre's Carnival art show of silkscreen prints through Monday, May 11. A portion of proceeds from art sales will be donated to the Love City Pan Dragons Youth Orchestra. Archival prints at collectible prices are on sale from 5-10 p.m., Monday-Saturday during Oceana dining hours.
Lisa Etre, raised on St. Croix, now lives on St. John and teaches art at Ivanna Eudora Kean High School. The artist's Caribbean life has been the stimulus for colorful graphic prints and giftware items that are well known throughout the region. Etre has returned to landscape painting, continues corporate designing and is the founding member of the Artists' Association of St. John Inc.
