April 25, 2009 – Silverio Avila Alvira, also known as “Berio,” of LaGrande Princess died on April 22, at his residence. He was 79 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Avila; daughters: Esthel, Barbara and Ivonne; sons: Silverio Jr., Francis, Wayne, Steve and Hector Luis; grandchildren: Giovannie, Silverio III, Jordan, Keysha, Sean, Rickie, Tony, Geneva, Dwayne, Marcus, Berth, Lisa, Karen and Junior; and great-grandchildren: D’Andre, Amari, Giana, Kienaya, Bebo, Sean Jr., Kissee, Maritza, Roshad, Rickie Jr. and Rickysha. He is also survived by daughters-in-law: Susan Richards, Brenda Richards, Curly Richards and Damaris; son-in-law, Juan Rivas; brother, Andre Avila; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m., Monday, April 27, at the James Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Kingshill Cemetery.
