Compete to eat all you can eat at the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center's “Carb Up for the Critters.” An all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner will be held from 5-8 p.m., on Friday, May 1, at Jump UP in Apothecary Hall, the Café Christine courtyard. The dinner will include two kinds of vegetarian sauce. Meatballs, sausages, desserts and drinks are available for an additional charge.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-13, and kids under six eat free. Tickets are available from Sadie’s Pet Boutique in Christiansted, Kokomo’s Glass and Shutters in 5 Corners, and the St. Croix AWC shelter facility at No. 32 Clifton Hill. All proceeds from the tickets benefit the animals of AWC.
“We hope the community will come out and support AWC at Jump Up and join us for food and fun,” said Shelter Coordinator Gretchen Sherrill. “We hope to raise much needed funds to support our animals and provide them with food, medicines, water and shelter.”
