FRC Holds 'Rite of Passage' Program for Girls

April 23, 2009 – The Family Resource Center's Family and Youth Crises Intervention Program is holding registration for its Girls' Rites of Passage Prevention Component. The program, funded by the Department of Human Services, is free but space is limited. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
The program is currently accepting registration from parents who have daughters who are ages 9 to 12. It will offer movement/theater, computer literacy, social etiquette, arts and crafts, Spanish and other activities. The program for girls will begin on Monday. June 22 and will operate five days per week from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a closing ceremony on Friday July 31.
