YWCA Will Hold Recognition Ceremony and Breakfast

In recognition of World YWCA Day and following this year's theme, "Women Creating a Safe World," the YWCA of the Virgin Islands will honor outstanding women of the V.I. at 9 a.m., Saturday, on April 25, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. The honorees will be Hyacinth Hendricks, Elena Turnbull and the contributions made to the Virgin Islands by the Eta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. The ceremony will be followed by a West Indian breakfast in the Parish Hall. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased from any member of YWCA and the honorees themselves or by calling the YWCA office at 776-1592 or 626-9804.
