Manor School to Have Fundraiser Featuring Harlem Renaissance

From May 15-17, the Manor School will hold its Annual Scholarship and Financial Aid Fundraiser featuring Crucian contributors of the Harlem Renaissance period. From May 15-17, the Manor School will hold its The three-day series of events will include the Manor School’s Harlem Renaissance Legacy Fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, May 16, at the Manor School campus at 4236 La Grande Princesse, Christiansted. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children under 10 years old. Roast pork, chicken and vegetarian food plates will be available for purchase.
Guests in attendance will include Interviewees and artists who have extensive knowledge about Crucian contributors to the Harlem Renaissance period, private sponsors, scholars and government officials from the U.S. Virgin Islands.
