April 13, 2009 – The 40th annual meeting of the League of Women Voters of the Virgin Islands will take place on Saturday, April 25, at the Palms Court Harbourview Grand Ballroom. This year Governor John P. deJongh Jr. will serve as the guest speaker and will present an overview of how the territory is using its funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m., and the cost is $5. The lunch is priced at $35 and will include a Caribbean Fair lunch buffet (with chicken, fish, side dishes, salad, dessert and fruit punch).

associate member, $30; and student member $25.
