Education Seeks Applicants for Summer Internships

April 10, 2009 – The Virgin Islands Department of Education is seeking college students to serve as summer interns for its Federal Inventory Project. The students will serve in both the St Thomas-St. John and St. Croix districts as field service supervisors and inventory clerks.
Education is required to perform a physical inventory and reconciliation of all equipment every two years. Selected individuals, who must be enrolled as a full-time students at a college or university, will be required to travel to schools and activity centers to perform inventory of said equipment, according to a release from Assistant Commissioner Donna Frett-Gregory. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 24.
Applications will be available on the department's Web site: www.doe.vi and at the following locations:
St. Thomas- St. John District:
