Coalition to Save Lindbergh Bay Meets

March 31, 2009 – The West Indian Company Ltd. and the Virgin Islands Port Authority are seeking a major CZM permit to dredge Charlotte Amalie Harbor. The Coalition to Save Lindbergh Bay Inc. has been established to stop this dumping. Say no to the dumping and come to the meeting of the coalition to save Lindbergh Bay Inc. at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, April 2, at Walker's By the Sea Restaurant located on the beach at Lindbergh.
The purpose of the meeting is to inform participants about how to help save the beach and the bay and to prevent a potential environmental disaster. The coalition believes there are better alternatives to these dumping sites. The public hearing on the CZM application is scheduled for 6 p.m., April 7.
For further information about the meeting on April 2, call Gail at 777-3011 or e-mail: gwasserman@weisslaw-vi.net.
