Did Air Port Firefighters Have the Blue Flu?

Dear Source:
I find it more then very disturbing that the Firefighters would call in Sick and Only having one Airfield/Crash Firefighter on Duty. As a Retired Lieutenant/ Crash Firefighter who comes to St. Croix for two weeks a year and have to read that this was Allowed to happen. I Will now think about if I want to Return and My other past shipmates that we get together once a year in St Croix .
This Should have Never Been Allowed and those that called in Sick are not True Firefighters that allow a Serious Danger that Might & Could have Happened.
I Hope some Action has been taken against those that called in Sick, if not that just shows that the Airport Authority has No Back Bone and does Not Care About Safety of those that Fly into St. Croix.
I will be Watching to see if anything is given out to the Blue Flu Sick Firefighter.
